TOPIC: Internet Cafe Online Game Inquiry

Can i ask what you can recommend. I am still old style (not diskless) because I cant afford to do the diskless and it's hard to transfer. So what I wanted to know is what can you suggest doing about online games? I wanted to be able to patch my games without doing it on my client PC because it would take so much time. I wanted to be able to do it on my server but I wanted to do it without having to make my PC diskless.

Prepare ka ng isang computer para gawing dedicated Online Game Server.

The hardware specification ng Game Server mo naka depende kung gaano karami ang client computers ng shop mo.

Semi-Diskless or Half-Diskless setup ang gagawin mo.

Sa Game server naka install lahat ng online games at naka install rin ang diskkless server apps.

All client computer meron paring hard drive at activated ang iscsi initiator or its equivalent diskless client apps para maka connect sa Game Server.

May mabibigay po ba kayo tutorial with software po? Na puwede ko po gawin. Yes po siguro half-diskless po siguro kaya ko po. D kaya full diskless medyo mahal po ata pag naglipat pa ako po.

The host file patcher is just a batch script file that was converted to executable file.
Ang function lang naman nito is to create a backup copy of the original host file then check ang laman nito kung naka list na yung mga websites na dapat e block. Kung meron na e skip nya, pag wala pa ilalagay nya.

Currently ito po yung setup diagram ko ng half-diskless using isharedisk version 1.6 and version 1.7

The following are the steps in activating ISCSI initiator sa mga client computer.

In the picture above I used 192.168.254.7 as game server's IP address. In relation to the posted diagram nakalagay doon 192.168.254.8. Sundin mo lang kung anong nilagay mo na static IP address sa game server mo.
