Configuring cache size

Maximal cache size allowed is 2 GB (2047 MB). However tests in field prove that with size larger than 1 GB (1024 MB), the speed of object search and thus the efficiency of the cache decreases significantly. Therefore, it is not recommended to create cache larger than 1 GB.

It is necessary that there is enough free space on the particular drive or to change cache size according to the free disk space. If the maximum cache size set is larger than the free space on the corresponding disk, the cache is not initialized and the following error is recorded in the Error log.

sana ito integrate ng mga router manufacturer sa mga products nila

Mga master, gusto ko lang e share na pwede gamitin all together and at the same time si kerio control at si pfsense with lusca.

Nasetup ko yung server ko using kerio control as the firewall and gateway with all the benefits & features niya as firewall and bandwidth controller, then behind the firewall and before the gateway sini setup ko si pfsense with lusca as purely proxy server lang, di ko ginamit ang wan interface nya para hindi ma involve yung router function ni pfsense.

Na deploy ko na sir, tried at my home network at sa isang shop ko. I have been a kerio user kasi ako for the past 10 years. Since 2004 kerio winroute firewall na ako.

So medyo gusto ko talaga si kerio, from the ease of use at saka sa very efficient load balancing with multiple wans/nic/isps. Ang kulang lang talaga ni kerio vs pfsense is si lusca. That's why i tried tweaking the settings of pfsense to make it work na proxy server lang cya. So far ok po sir LOTR. ang ganda ng performance of both worlds.

Plus with the help of lusca ako talaga ang pinaka mabilis sa area namin. dami kasing gumagaya ng icafe business kaya it is always better na meron tayong edge.

tama yan, ang edge ko lang dito ngayon e ung 10mb connection at diskless pero soon yung mga kalaban ko mag uupgrade din yan. anyway, puwede makita URL Groups mo for limiting downloads hehehe

Di po ako gumamit ng URL Groups for limiting the download sa mga customers po. In fact isang reason din yan na doon sila mag net sa shop ko dahil mabilis mag download ng mga mp3 at videos. So para hindi mag suffer yung ibang internet services nag setup po ako ng Qos Rules na ma prioritize yung ibang services. Eto po ang Qos Rules Setup ko.
