sana may mga advance configuration na isama...

sa mga baguhan ok po itong seminar, sa mga mahilig mag google at mag self study baka maboring lang kayo, pero mas ok ito since may actual na application hindi na kayo gagastos para ma test if ok or hindi sa inyo ang diskless...

sa mga baguhan ok po itong seminar, sa mga mahilig mag google at mag self study baka maboring lang kayo, pero mas ok ito since may actual na application hindi na kayo gagastos para ma test if ok or hindi sa inyo ang diskless...

Mga baguhan na gusto matutong magsetup ang usual attendees
Yung iba nga, sobrang basic na nga yung yung topics na kung pwede lang nguyain na namin para sa kanila, wala pa ring natutunan
To think na meron pang handouts na binibigay na nakalagay na doon simplest basic steps pano magsetup ng diskless environment
I think about 20-25 pages of illustration detailing simple step by step guide pano magdiskless
And to top it off, ako muna nagdedemo kung ano ang mga gagawin at mga kailangan sa server at clients
Pero ayun, wala pa ring natutunan
How much more if kasama na advanced configuration?
Baka mademanda na kami dahil hindi na nakasunod sa discussion?

Every seminar has its own intended audience/attendees
If alam mo na basics, then good for you
Lahat ba ng tao gaya ng iba na alam agad ang basics?
Or have time to read articles and pages of guides amd tutorials?

Do you think sir kailangan na namin discuss advanced topics for beginners?

i think hindi nman nila need matutuhan lahat in 1 day kahit yung basic pero SANA atleast give them something interesting na pwde nila maging goal pag katapos ng seminar, something to think for them self to study at hindi maging spoon feed yung seminar na lalabas na parang nag pasetup na din sila sa iba ng diskless nila.

If telling them what os, server/client specs, explaining differences in cables, ssd:pc ratio, uploading image, driver/app installation, when/what raid to use, ip addressing etc etc etc is not that interesting, can you suggest something na pwede nilang maging goal after the seminar?

Hi guys, the course outline is provided to give prospect attendees an idea on what is going to be discussed in the seminar, which should help them decide whether or not the seminar is really suited for them. As many of you may notice, the target audience aren't those can set-up and configure diskless cafe's without effort. Yes, every seminar has a target audience. If you aren't part of the target audience, then it doesn't mean that the seminar is bad or that won't be helpful. It just means its not for you.

Now i get your point about "target" having a second meaning. Yes the sponsors may see it as a means to an end, reason enough for them to subsidize the cost. And this may not be to your liking, but for some people, seeing brand banners and brochures of sponsors in a seminar to cut half of the cost is a pretty good trade-off.

Just like using Facebook, ads are aplenty there, but people put up with it because well, they can live with it and they get to use Facebook for a low low price (FREE!) :)
